About this policy
Send questions or data requests to support@leadmcp.ai. You can request removal from the contact database without an account or an explanation.
Two kinds of personal data
We control the personal data collected from website visitors and product users. Sections 1 through 4 explain this information.
We also control our business contact database. It contains professional details that customers can search and export.
Customers control the records they retrieve and are responsible for their subsequent use. Section 5 explains the database; section 7 explains your rights.
1. Data collected from customers and visitors
Website visits generate page views, referral information, approximate IP-based location, browser and device details, and navigation activity.
Account information includes your name, work email, company, and the account and billing details you provide.
We record searches, exports, enrichments, and API calls to operate capacity limits, calculate billing, and provide support.
Support records contain information you send through email, tickets, calls, or community messages.
Our payment provider processes payments. We receive billing details and subscription status, but never receive or store your full card number.
2. How we use this information
Our processing relies on contractual necessity, legitimate business interests, consent where requested, and legal obligations, as applicable.
- Operate and secure LeadMCP, including account authentication.
- Process billing and payments.
- Respond to support requests.
- Understand usage and improve the website and product.
- Send account notices and permitted marketing. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Detect abuse, enforce fair usage, and meet legal obligations.
3. Cookies, analytics, and visitor identification
Third-party analytics measure pages, clicks, funnels, and some session recordings. These tools use cookies or local storage, with processing generally in the United States.
Some pages use third-party advertising and measurement technologies. Those providers may set cookies.
A first-party script on leadmcp.ai works with a visitor-identification provider to match visits to businesses and available business contacts.
It records visited pages and request signals, then matches them to business records. We use the results to understand interest and follow up commercially.
Visitor identification applies only to United States visitors. Email support@leadmcp.ai to object or request details about your information.
Embedded content and third-party fonts expose your IP address to their providers, which may set cookies. Scheduling links use a third-party provider.
Cloud hosting and content delivery providers process request logs, including IP addresses.
Your browser can block or delete cookies. Some app features may stop working when cookies are blocked.
4. Recipients of customer and visitor data
Service providers process information on our behalf, including the visitor-identification service described above.
Providers change as our tools change. Ask support@leadmcp.ai about a specific provider.
We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights or safety.
A buyer or successor may receive information if the business is sold. This policy continues to apply to that information.

5. The business contact database
Records include names, roles, employers, work emails, business phones, and professional profile links. Company details include industry, size, location, and technology use.
The database concerns people in their professional capacity. We do not seek private-life information or knowingly collect sensitive personal information.
Excluded categories include government identifiers, financial accounts, precise location, biometric and genetic data, health information, and immigration status.
They also include union membership, sexual orientation, and reproductive health information.
Sources include public online information, licensed third-party data, and records checked through our validation processes.
We rely on our legitimate interests, and those of customers, in business communication. You can object using section 7.
Customers receive search and enrichment access under a licence. They do not own the database. We do not use it to target online advertising.
Our Fair Usage Policy prohibits raw-data resale, redistribution, and competing datasets. Customers must follow applicable marketing and data protection laws.
After export, customers control their copies and are responsible for their use. We do not control their subsequent handling of exported records.
6. International transfers and retention
Our global service and providers transfer personal data to the United States and other countries.
Transfers outside the UK or EEA use safeguards required by applicable law.
We retain account and billing records during your subscription and afterwards when needed for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
Usage and server logs remain for a limited operational period. Database records remain while relevant and necessary for business contact purposes.
Records are refreshed regularly. After removal requests, we retain limited suppression information to prevent records from returning during refreshes.
7. Your rights and removal requests
Depending on your location, you may access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your data.
You may also restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent. We do not discriminate against people who exercise these rights.
Email support@leadmcp.ai with enough information to locate your record. Your name and work email will usually suffice.
We respond within the period required by applicable law. Requests are free unless the law permits charges for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
We may verify your identity before acting. We may decline requests where the law permits or requires refusal.
Removal adds your details to a suppression list designed to prevent reintroduction during database refreshes.
Where permitted, an authorised agent can submit your request. We may require proof of authorisation.
You can complain to your data protection authority. UK residents can contact the Information Commissioner's Office; EEA residents can contact their national supervisory authority.
8. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards suited to the information we hold. These include encryption in transit and internal access controls.
No system is completely secure. We notify affected people or regulators about security incidents when the law requires it.
9. Children
LeadMCP serves businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data or maintain contact records for minors.
If you believe we hold a child's information, email support@leadmcp.ai so we can delete it.
10. Policy changes
We may revise this policy as the product or law changes. The date above identifies the current version.
We make reasonable efforts to tell customers directly about material changes affecting them.
11. Contact
For policy questions, personal data requests, or database removal, email support@leadmcp.ai.
