Find leads with ChatGPT

To find leads with ChatGPT, add LeadMCP as an MCP server in ChatGPT settings and approve it once. Then ask for the people you want in plain words. ChatGPT counts the market for free and brings back contacts with work emails and phone numbers.

01 Connect

Connect in 2 minutes

These are the steps the LeadMCP app shows on its Connect page. You need no API key and no bearer token.

    Open Settings → Plugins

    In ChatGPT, click your name at the bottom left, then Settings, then Plugins. Custom MCP servers need a paid ChatGPT plan.

    Click Add, then Add MCP server

    The Add menu is at the top right of the Plugins page.

    Name it LeadMCP, pick Streamable HTTP, and paste the server URL

    Leave Bearer token env var and both header lists empty. Then click Save.

    Open the MCPs tab and click Authenticate

    The leadmcp row shows an Authenticate button. If it is not there yet, click the refresh icon next to Add server. A LeadMCP tab opens: click Approve.

    Click Approve, then finish in ChatGPT

    The LeadMCP page names the account that pays for calls. Click Approve. Back in the MCPs tab, leadmcp shows as connected. Open a new chat and ask ChatGPT to find leads.

Try these prompts

Type them as they are. Each one shows the tool the agent calls and what it costs. Counts are always free.

  • Find heads of marketing at US companies that raised a Series B.

    count_matches free

    ChatGPT sets functions to marketing, seniority to VP and director, countries to the US and last_round_types to Series B. Then it counts, for free.

  • How many of them have a phone number?

    count_matches free

    ChatGPT adds has_phone and counts again. Every count is free, so ChatGPT can narrow the list as often as you like.

  • Show me 20 of them with their emails.

    find_contacts contact credits

    ChatGPT reads one page of 20 rows. The phone comes in the same row at no extra cost. Each returned contact costs one contact credit.

  • List fintech companies in the UK with 51 to 200 people.

    ChatGPT searches companies with company_hq_countries, company_size and industries. A company count is free. Each returned company costs one contact credit.

Which ChatGPT plan do I need?
